They’ve even added PROPER GORY fatalities. Finally an R rated Mortal Kombat film. So far we’ve got most of the OGs, Jax, Sonya Blade, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Raiden, Kano, Mileena, Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Shang Tsung…. and more! (hopefully more to be revealed in the coming weeks.)

The film releases on HBO and in theatres April 16.

New Mortal Kombat Movie Update – CAST FINALIZED!

Hello kombatants, we got a nice update for all you MK fans out there – the MK film that was set to release in 2021 has finally got some of its cast members confirmed and ready to play the roles of veteran characters like Raiden, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Sub-Zero, Sonya and… hold your breath… MILEENA!

Yes, Mileena has been KONFIRMED for the film and she’s got an amazing actress to play her as well.

Nightwolf FINALLY Teased! New Mortal Kombat Film’s Sub-Zero KONFIRMED!

It’s gonna be Joe Taslim, Indonesian actor and martial artist – a perfect fit for the role!

James Wan is a man who doesn’t make bad decisions. If “The Raid” actor was chosen, then it must be for a reason. Well, we can’t wait to see what happens. As of now, the plot of the film is unclear and kept under wraps. We hope to see more updates in the future and a kickass cast to join the film too!

Not only does he bring diversity to the game, but he does have a varied attack and combo list, making Nightwolf a super fun character to play as/with.

New Mortal Kombat Film Officially KONFIRMED!!!

This just in – The new MK film that was supposed to be a rumor, will begin shooting later this year, in Adelaide, South Australia.

The movie will be produced by none other than James Wan – who has worked on many popular horror films like The Conjuring, Saw, etc. and more recently, on a DC project, Aquaman, as a director.

Mortal Kombat fans are joyous and it’s time to celebrate, because this project has been continuously delayed, until now – after the official announcement made by the Premier of South Australia, Steven Marshall.

As of now, no cast members have been confirmed and there’s little knowledge about the storyline/plot they will follow. But it is definitely going to be one of the biggest blockbusters of 2020 and will mark 25 years after the first MK film.
