If you’ve been living under a rock, then you probably missed the BIG reveal last month when Mortal Kombat 1 was announced by NRS. Well, no harm done – watch the trailer reveal below.
It looks breathtakingly beautiful. But you know what’s better? A gameplay reveal. For months there was chatter to add the old and OG characters from the earliest iterations of this franchise, and it is slowly coming true.
With the new “Kameo” feature, a lot of the characters that have been unplayable for years are now sort-of playable; and you can use them in your roster. Watch the video below!
P.S. It’s age-restricted (I mean it’s Mortal Kombat, what do you expect?)
The arenas look fantastic. The gameplay feels smoother, looks vivid and just draws you in. One of the coolest things is the fact that the fights also take place while the characters are still in dialogue – previously there was a blank loading screen with character art. It has truly been stepped up!
And now for the spicy part! According to a reddit user (MarkT_D_W), the base game will include 24 characters. At the moment, only 8 are confirmed so far. He shared the info of 19 characters in total that will be a part of the game!
Hereβs the leaked roster:
Havik
Reiko
Nitara
Li Mei
Ashrah
Sub-Zero
Scorpion
Smoke
Reptile
Liu Kang
Kung Lao
Raiden
Shang Tsung
Kitana
Mileena
Tanya
Sindel
Johnny Cage
Kenshi
Well, there you have it. A lot of them are from MK4, just as Ed Boon promised. Ain’t that dandy! Nostalgia reload.

It’s coming soon – although we don’t know the actual release date. All we can do is wait and see what comes next!
Here’s a few reactions from the community!

The gaming community has recently been buzzing with excitement as the highly anticipated Street Fighter 6 was released today. This latest installment in the iconic fighting game franchise has raised the bar even higher, delivering an immersive experience that caters to both casual players and competitive fighters alike. With its revamped gameplay mechanics, stunning visuals, and an array of diverse characters, Street Fighter 6 has solidified its position as a standout entry in the series.
A New Era of Fighting:
Street Fighter 6 introduces several key changes that enhance the overall gameplay experience. Capcom has taken a bold step by reimagining the combat mechanics, incorporating elements that strike a balance between accessibility and depth. The result is a game that welcomes newcomers while still offering plenty of room for mastery.
One of the most notable additions is the V-Shift system. This defensive maneuver allows players to evade attacks and create opportunities for counter-attacks. It adds an extra layer of strategy and mind games to matches, encouraging players to think strategically and adapt to their opponents’ playstyles. The V-Shift system serves as a great equalizer, preventing matches from becoming one-sided while promoting a more engaging and unpredictable combat experience.
Visual Spectacle:
Street Fighter 6 is a visual feast for the eyes, boasting stunning graphics that push the boundaries of what is possible in a fighting game. The character models are incredibly detailed, showcasing intricate animations that bring each fighter to life. The vibrant backgrounds are meticulously designed, immersing players in dynamic environments that complement the intense battles taking place.
The game’s graphics are not just for show, as the visual fidelity contributes to the overall gameplay experience. Subtle details, such as the animation cues for moves and attacks, aid in telegraphing opponents’ actions, enabling players to react swiftly and make split-second decisions. The fluidity of the animations further enhances the responsiveness of the controls, ensuring that players feel fully in control of their chosen fighters.

Our Mains!
Street Fighter 6 boasts a diverse roster of fighters, each with their own unique abilities, fighting styles, and competitive advantages. Here are my top three favorite characters and why they stand out:
Ryu: Ryu has been a mainstay of the Street Fighter franchise, and in Street Fighter 6, he continues to be a formidable force. His balanced skill set allows players to excel in various playstyles, making him a versatile choice. Ryu’s signature Hadoken and Shoryuken are still powerful tools, providing him with both zoning and close-range options. He remains an excellent choice for beginners and experienced players alike.
2. Chun-Li: Chun-Li’s lightning-fast kicks and acrobatic maneuvers make her a force to be reckoned with. Her speed and agility allow for quick, high-damage combos that can overwhelm opponents. Chun-Li’s versatility shines through her strong ground game, aerial attacks, and punishing counters. Her Spinning Bird Kick and Hyakuretsukyaku Super Combo are devastating offensive tools that can turn the tide of a match in an instant.
3. Dhalsim: Dhalsim is a yoga master whoseΒ long, stretchy limbs, irregular projectiles, and unpredictable sneak attacks can easily outwit those lacking in enlightenment.Β If that isn’t enough for you sneaky bastards to use him, then I don’t know what is.
Game Balance
One of the key aspects that determine the success of a fighting game is its balance. Street Fighter 6 has made significant strides in ensuring that no single character dominates the competitive scene. The development team has taken player feedback into account and fine-tuned the character roster to create a more balanced and diverse gameplay experience.
Compared to its predecessor, Street Fighter 5, Street Fighter 6 has implemented changes that address some of the previous game’s shortcomings. The V-Shift system in Street Fighter 6, for instance, offers an additional defensive option that can help level the playing field, reducing the reliance on certain characters or playstyles. This addition adds depth to matches and contributes to a more strategic and dynamic meta.
Moreover, Street Fighter 6 has introduced more comprehensive tutorials and training modes, catering to both newcomers and seasoned players. The expanded tutorial system offers in-depth explanations of mechanics, combos, and strategies, ensuring that players have the resources to improve their skills and fully explore the game’s mechanics.
Conclusion:
Street Fighter 6 is a testament to the longevity and evolution of the legendary fighting game franchise. With its revamped gameplay mechanics, stunning visuals, and diverse roster of characters, the game offers an immersive and exhilarating experience. The V-Shift system adds depth and strategy to matches, while the stunning graphics enhance the overall immersion.
Choosing a favorite character is a matter of personal preference, but Ryu, Chun-Li, and Rashid have all captured my attention with their unique fighting styles and competitive advantages. Whether it’s Ryu’s balanced playstyle, Chun-Li’s lightning-fast kicks, or Rashid’s unorthodox wind-based attacks, each character brings a distinct flavor to the game.
Street Fighter 6 builds upon the successes of its predecessor and addresses its shortcomings, offering a more balanced and engaging experience. With its improved tutorials and training modes, the game caters to players of all skill levels, ensuring that anyone can jump in and enjoy the thrilling world of Street Fighter.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is a popular multiplayer first-person shooter game that has been around for over a decade. One aspect of the game that has drawn a lot of attention is the collection of skins. These skins are essentially virtual items that change the appearance of the in-game weapons.
Skins can be acquired in a few ways, but the most common method is by purchasing them from the Steam Marketplace. Some skins are very rare, and as a result, their value has skyrocketed over the years. In this article, we’ll take a look at the top five most expensive CS:GO skins of all time.
The Dragon Lore
The Dragon Lore is one of the most sought-after skins in CS:GO. It’s a rifle skin for the AWP and features a dragon on the body of the weapon. The skin was first introduced in 2014 as part of the Cobblestone Collection. It quickly became a fan favorite and was highly sought after due to its rarity and unique design.
The most expensive Dragon Lore skin sold for an eye-watering $61,052.63 in January2021. The skin was in Factory New condition and had a StatTrak counter, which adds to its value. The buyer was anonymous, but it’s safe to say that they were a serious collector with deep pockets.
Souvenir AWP | Dragon Lore
Another variant of the Dragon Lore is the Souvenir AWP | Dragon Lore. It’s a skin that was available exclusively through souvenir packages during the DreamHack Cluj-Napoca 2015 tournament. The skin features the same dragon design as the regular Dragon Lore but has a gold emblem on the body, indicating its rarity.
The most expensive Souvenir AWP | Dragon Lore sold for $39,000 in April of 2021. The skin was in Factory New condition and had a gold ESL One Cologne 2016 sticker on it, adding to its value. The seller, a user by the name of “Shroud,” had owned the skin for several years before deciding to sell it.
StatTrak M4A4 | Howl
The StatTrak M4A4 | Howl is a skin for the M4A4 rifle and features a wolf howling at the moon on the body of the weapon. It was first introduced in 2014 as part of the Huntsman Weapon Case. The skin gained notoriety in 2015 when it was removed from the game due to copyright issues. The original design contained artwork stolen from an artist, and Valve removed the skin from the game and replaced it with a new design.
The most expensive StatTrak M4A4 | Howl sold for $17,000 in February of 2021. The skin was in Factory New condition and had a StatTrak counter, which added to its value. The seller, a user by the name of “Bees,” had owned the skin for several years before deciding to part ways with it.
Bayonet | Crimson Web
The Bayonet | Crimson Web is a skin for the Bayonet knife and features a spider web pattern on the blade. It was first introduced in 2013 as part of the Huntsman Weapon Case. The skin quickly became a fan favorite due to its unique design and has been in high demand ever since.
The most expensive Bayonet | Crimson Web sold for $23,850 in September of 2020. The skin was in Factory New condition and had a StatTrak counter, which added to its value. The seller, a user by the name of “sotheby,” had owned the skin for several years before it went on sale.
Glock-18 | Fade
The Glock-18 | Fade is a skin for the Glock pistol and features a gradient design that fades from black to blue to purple. It was first introduced in 2013 as part of the Arms Deal Collection. The skin quickly became a fan favorite due to its unique design and has been in high demand ever since.
The most expensive Glock-18 | Fade sold for $16,000 in December of 2020. The skin was in Factory New condition and had a StatTrak counter, which added to its value. The buyer was anonymous, but it’s safe to say that they were a serious collector with a love for unique designs.

Counter-Strike, a game that has been around for over two decades and has captured the hearts of millions of players worldwide, has recently announced a potential sequel inside of CS:GO- Counter-Strike 2. The announcement came as a surprise to many fans of the game, and speculation has been rampant ever since. In this article, we will explore what we know about the upcoming game, discuss how it might compare to the current iteration, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), and give you an overview of what you can expect from Counter-Strike 2.
What we know about Counter-Strike 2
First and foremost, it’s important to note that Counter Strike 2 has been officially announced by Valve, the developer behind the series. According to the announcement, Counter-Strike 2 is being built on the Source 2 engine, which is a significant upgrade from the original Source engine used for previous Counter-Strike games. This engine was first used in Dota 2 and offers improved graphics, physics, and other features that could make for a more immersive gameplay experience.
Beyond the engine upgrade, little is known about the specifics of CS2. However, the announcement did mention that the game is “coming summer 2023”, which has many fans speculating that it could be released as early as May this year. Additionally, there have been rumors and leaks that suggest the game will be a departure from the traditional formula of the series, potentially offering a battle royale-style game or more single-player content.
Comparing CS:GO to Counter-Strike 2
Counter-Strike 2 is basically a massive upgrade from CS:GO. CS:GO has been incredibly successful since its release in 2012 and has become one of the most popular esports titles in the world. It has a huge player base, a thriving competitive scene, and a constant stream of updates and new content.
The gameplay of CS:GO is focused on two teams, terrorists and counter-terrorists, competing in a variety of game modes. The core gameplay mechanics involve strategic movement, aiming, and shooting. The game has a steep learning curve, with a focus on precision and tactical decision-making. Matches are often intense and can require a high level of skill and teamwork to succeed.
If Counter-Strike 2 were to stick with this basic formula, it would likely face some tough competition from CS:GO. However, if Counter Strike 2 were to offer significant improvements to the graphics, physics, and gameplay mechanics, it could potentially attract players who are looking for a more modern and polished experience.
What to expect from Counter Strike 2
Watch the videos below to see what’s new and what we can expect from this glorious AND FREE “update.”
One area where Counter Strike 2 could differentiate itself from CS:GO is in the variety of game modes and customization options. CS:GO has a few different game modes, but they can feel somewhat repetitive after a while. If Counter-Strike 2 were to offer more diverse and interesting game modes, it could potentially keep players engaged for longer periods of time.
Another area where Counter Strike 2 could potentially shine is in the graphics and physics. The Source 2 engine has already proven itself to be capable of creating stunning visuals in games like Dota 2 and Half-Life: Alyx. If Counter-Strike 2 were to take full advantage of the engine’s capabilities, it could be one of the most visually impressive FPS games on the market.
It seems to look like a massive upgrade from what we’ve seen so far – and we’re all for it.
Who wants to try out some cool smoke’n’nade tricks?! Just us? Okay.

Wait… It’s March already? Crazy how time flies, some of us are still in 2022. Back to March’23, we know that this year is full of promising games across all platforms. Even in the last couple of months, we have seen anticipated releases such as Hogwarts Legacy and Destiny 2: Lightfall expansion.
Here’s our top 3 pick for the month of March!
1.Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
Available across PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, One, and Windows, Team Ninja delivers an action-packed RPG with hack-and-slash elements. Looks great, feels great. Although there have been mixed opinions on this, mostly because of the terrible optimization of the game for PC users. The port seems to be generating mostly negative reviews, but the game itself is… amazing.
Game comes out March 03 (technically today) so go have fun! Check it out HERE!
2. Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania
Absolutely crazy news – the DLC to an amazing game Dead Cells comes out March 06. If you haven’t played it before, you’re missing out. Here’s the trailer to the DLC and you should most definitely get it.
Dropping at the end of this month (March 24), this is a much awaited game in the RE Franchise. One of the best games in the series now gets a full makeover. What’s not to be excited about?!
Check out the gameplay here below and see for yourself!
It looks beyond incredible. Make sure you preorder it HERE for an amazing price! (And quickest delivery hehe…)
That’s all for this time! Stay tuned for more π
if you are looking to buy the game, we offer it for a cheaper price than Steam and many other platforms on our website. Hogwarts Legacy has been one of the most anticipated games of 2023 and already is super hyped up. And for good reason too – imagine an open-world game in the Harry Potter universe where you could choose your destiny; and that means choosing and customizing your own characters, houses, and more!
Of course, this game hasn’t received any less hate due to the controversies it has been through, but we at Gamersoutlet.net literally do not give 2 shits about that. We purely focus on the game, the design, the gameplay, and everything that has to do with the GAME and not the shenanigans attached to it.
It’s already breaking records! As you can see below – it’s unreal. It also had one of the biggest early access launches in the history of Steam.
This game is beautiful, intuitive and smooth on the eyes. Tons of activities and things to do, it reminds us of the good old times of the Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets game. AND THERE’S A POSSIBILITY THAT YOU CAN PLAY QUIDDITCH! How cool is that?!
The reviews for the game are looking solid at the moment… and guess what house is the most picked house in the game by far.
You guessed it right! Slytherin! It’s only super new so that will most definitely change. But we all remember taking the Pottermore Quiz at some point in our lives, so this is a nice little bit of nostalgia to look back at.
Watch the gameplay below and decide for yourselves if you should get the game! Our verdict: Definitely worth a try!
And here’s IGN’s review, because without the classic “11/10” review to make you laugh, this article would be incomplete.
Let us know if you get the game or have already tried it in the comments below!
Ever wanted to take a trip back to the 90s and relive the amazing nostalgia of your childhood or teenage years? Good. Let’s have a look at our top pick for this week’s retro game!
Bio Menace! Developed and published by Apogee Software, this is a classic 2D side-scrolling game focused on killing monsters and rescuing civilians. A dude with a mullet, tons of guns and pickups, and the nostalgia of 1990s. What more could you ask for?
Check out the gameplay above and see if you remember your favorite (or the hardest) level you played! Seems like ages ago but this game is from 1993, so don’t worry if you feel too old.
You know what the best part is? It’s free. No, we’re not talking about the first episode, which was released as Shareware back when it was released, we mean the entire game.
Don’t believe us? Here’s the link to download and play the full game! (Legally, from their official website) CLICK HERE π
Personally, our favorite level was the one in the image below. It took us 3 tries to beat it.
What’s yours? Let us know in the comments below! Happy time traveling! π
If you ever had the chance to play HTML or Flash games on your old computers then you definitely know what we’re talking about. Have you heard of the Last Stand series?
Well, if you haven’t, here’s a short trip down memory lane!
That’s right! Do you remember now? Developed by Con Artist Games and published by Armor Games, you can still play the original series online HERE!
Both the Last Stand 1 and 2 were fan favorites and were further developed into The Last Stand: Union City with way more features and a more intricate system. The gameplay became more sidescroller-roguelike with RPG aspects to it.
Finally, they released The Last Stand: Aftermath in late 2021 continuing the story where they left off at Union City. A completely brand new game with mindblowing visuals and it’s hard to say they made the last 3 games.
It went from a browser game… to this masterpiece. TLS Aftermath is everything you can expect from a successor sequel. Brand new mechanics, brand new gameplay, and tons of replayability.
Check out the gameplay below!
Well then – what are you waiting for? Go get all 4 of these games! They’re highly discounted on Steam at the moment. Don’t miss your chance π
