Not quite often, there is a game that just makes you go “WOW.” So immersive, visually appealing and intuitive, Baldur’s Gate could be the next GOTY or even GOTD (Decade). It’s just such a good game that it will be talked about for many years to come and has set a new standard for the gaming industry, especially for RPGs.
After spending at least a few hours on character creation, you will dive into a world where quite literally anything is possible, and doable. There are so many things you can ACTUALLY do, realistically. Which I think is one of the strongest suits of the game. Imagine this as an upgraded Skyrim.
With an average of 200 hours of gameplay time to fully finish everything – this is an insane game with near infinity possibilities and a high amount of replayability. For those who don’t know about Baldur’s Gate as an area in the D&D Universe (Dungeons and Dragons) – it’s not the best game to start your D&D adventure, especially if you have never played the OG tabletop version. In any case, you can do some research about it online and understand the different classes, categories and types of races you need to start your adventure.

A direct sequel of Remnant: From The Ashes, or Remnant 1, this direct sequel was released last week, on July 25th.
Developed by Gunfire Games and published by Perfect World Entertainment, Remnant 2 builds upon the foundation laid by its predecessor and delivers a fresh and exhilarating co-op action RPG experience.
Remnant 2’s gameplay mechanics remain the core strength of the series. Set in a dynamic, procedurally generated world, players embark on intense and challenging adventures filled with monstrous creatures, unique environments, and strategic combat encounters. The game seamlessly blends third-person shooting mechanics with role-playing elements, allowing players to customize their characters, weapons, and abilities to suit their playstyle.
From character creation to actual gameplay, everything looks and feels seamless and smooth. Visually, it’s a huge step-up AND the gameplay is definitely harder now! And more intuitive. It does feel clunky at times but that’s probably because… I sucked at the game a bit.
Here’s a short gameplay clip!
Did that cause you to feel excited about getting the game and playing it? Well, here’s the cherry on top: THE CLASSES! There’s so many classes to choose from this time, and each sounds amazingly balanced.
The combat in Remnant 2 is a significant improvement from its predecessor. The arsenal of weapons is more diverse, offering a wide array of firearms, melee weapons, and mystical artifacts. The combination of gunplay and melee combat feels smooth and satisfying, making each encounter feel engaging and rewarding. Additionally, the addition of new enemy types and boss battles adds depth and variety to the gameplay experience.
The co-op aspect of Remnant 2 remains a highlight, as players can team up with friends or other online players in a party of up to four members. The developers have refined the multiplayer mechanics, making it easier to connect and play with others seamlessly. The synergy between players is essential, as different character builds complement each other, encouraging teamwork and fostering a sense of camaraderie.
Still haven’t finished playing the game, although I’m already 15 hours in – there’s SO MUCH to do, and you never get tired of it. On a final note – Just get the game. It definitely is one of the top games of 2023.
Mortal Kombat 1 is going all in with the reveals, and they have kept their word about getting the old, nostalgic 3D characters back as playable characters. With the Kombat Pack 1 announcement and the additional character gameplay reveal of 3 more right after that during Comic-Con was probably the biggest game changer for this title.
Watch the trailer for Kombat Pack 1 below:
Now that we’ve seen some of the COOLEST characters together (and the fact that J.K. Simmons will be voicing Omni-Man) we can sleep easy. NRS and Boon have single-handedly destroyed all our expectations and have gone above and beyond with these reveals.
What’s crazy, is that this is not it. There are rumors of Onaga reprising his role as the main villain for this title.
Alright, now onto the next reveal!
You know what’s EVEN CRAZIER?! Scorpion is not… Hanzo Hazashi. This title’s Scorpion is none other than… Kuai Liang. Yep. Sub-Zero himself. You’re probably wondering, WTF? That’s the appropriate reaction. Apparently in this timeline – everything is just rebooted thanks to our new lord and saviour Liu Kang.
Let’s see what the future holds and what the Story Mode brings us. We’re extremely excited about this at Gamers-Outlet.net! Let us know your thoughts in the comments below… Tune back in for more updates! Until then, have a great start to your week!
If you’ve been living under a rock, then you probably missed the BIG reveal last month when Mortal Kombat 1 was announced by NRS. Well, no harm done – watch the trailer reveal below.
It looks breathtakingly beautiful. But you know what’s better? A gameplay reveal. For months there was chatter to add the old and OG characters from the earliest iterations of this franchise, and it is slowly coming true.
With the new “Kameo” feature, a lot of the characters that have been unplayable for years are now sort-of playable; and you can use them in your roster. Watch the video below!
P.S. It’s age-restricted (I mean it’s Mortal Kombat, what do you expect?)
The arenas look fantastic. The gameplay feels smoother, looks vivid and just draws you in. One of the coolest things is the fact that the fights also take place while the characters are still in dialogue – previously there was a blank loading screen with character art. It has truly been stepped up!
And now for the spicy part! According to a reddit user (MarkT_D_W), the base game will include 24 characters. At the moment, only 8 are confirmed so far. He shared the info of 19 characters in total that will be a part of the game!
Hereβs the leaked roster:
Havik
Reiko
Nitara
Li Mei
Ashrah
Sub-Zero
Scorpion
Smoke
Reptile
Liu Kang
Kung Lao
Raiden
Shang Tsung
Kitana
Mileena
Tanya
Sindel
Johnny Cage
Kenshi
Well, there you have it. A lot of them are from MK4, just as Ed Boon promised. Ain’t that dandy! Nostalgia reload.
How excited are you for this game?! We here at GamersOutlet.net can’t wait. Stay tuned for more updates! π
Zombies, gore, and survival. These are some of the hallmarks of the Dead Island franchise, which has been a fan-favorite among gamers for years. As a fan of the zombie genre, you’re probably familiar with the game that brought us the iconic vacation-turned-horror story. Since its release in 2011, it has spawned sequels, spin-offs, and even a movie adaptation. But what about Dead Island 2?
In 2014, fans were eagerly anticipating the release of Dead Island 2, the sequel to the hit 2011 game. However, the game’s development has been a long and bumpy road, leaving fans wondering what to expect from the upcoming release.
Dead Island 2 was originally announced at E3 2014, with a trailer that showcased the game’s setting: California. The trailer promised the same intense, action-packed gameplay that players loved in the first game, but with an updated and expanded open-world experience. However, the game was hit with multiple delays and changes in development studios, causing frustration among fans.
Another notable speedbump is the change in development studios. Dead Island 1 was developed by Techland, while Dead Island 2 has been passed between multiple studios over the years. Yager Development was originally tasked with developing the game, but after several delays, the studio was dropped from the project. Sumo Digital then took over development, but the game was delayed again after the studio was acquired by Tencent. Finally, it came back to Deep Silver.
Story
Dead Island 2 takes place 10 years after the original events of the first game, which means that the virus has already spread to California. Players cannot change characters and the story is thought to be somewhat lackluster, but the variety and amount of weapons make up for it.
The setting of Dead Island 2 is drastically different from the original game, which took place on a tropical island. California offers a more varied and urban environment, with locations like Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Venice Beach. It will be interesting to see how the developers utilize these iconic locations to create a new and exciting gameplay experience.
Gameplay
Dead Island 2 promises to build on the successful formula of the first game while also introducing new mechanics and features. It also includes a few features from the old games, including the βrageβ feature and the crafting features.
Another new feature is the addition of vehicles, allowing players to traverse the expansive map quickly. From cars to skateboards, the range of vehicles promises to offer a fun and varied experience. The game will also introduce new infected types, which will challenge players with unique abilities and weaknesses.
Visuals
Visually, Dead Island 2 looks like a significant upgrade from the first game. The new setting offers a more diverse and vibrant environment, with an emphasis on bright colors and a unique art style. The game’s character models and animations have also been improved, with more realistic movements and facial expressions.
Conclusion
While the development of Dead Island 2 has been rocky, it seems like the game is finally ready to be seen in its full glory. With a new setting, improved visuals, and exciting new gameplay features, the game promises to be a worthy successor to the original.
Firstly, the game is expected to have a more polished and updated visual experience. The game’s new setting in California is sure to provide a vibrant and colorful environment for players to explore, with plenty of landmarks and iconic locations to visit. The game is also expected to take advantage of newer technology, such as ray tracing and more advanced AI, to create a more immersive experience.
In terms of gameplay, Dead Island 2 is expected to build upon the already solid foundation set by the first game. Players can expect to explore an expansive open world, filled with a variety of weapons, vehicles, and quests to complete. The game’s crafting system, which allows players to create their own weapons and items, is also expected to be expanded upon, providing even more opportunities for players to customize their experience.
It releases globally on April 21 (tomorrow!) so make sure you get your hands on it and let us know what you think about it π

Hey guys! Hope you’re all geared up for this bleak and cold winter (hopefully not) and are looking forward to the cozy holidays and amazing dinners with the fam (hopefully).
We made a list of 3 games that you should definitely give a try during this holiday season.
Ready? Ok. Let’s go!
1.Need For Speed: Unbound (NFS Unbound)
A great new game that was just released. With graphics that make it look like the Spiderverse movies, and the adrenaline fueled action powered by childhood nostalgia, this is something you should NOT miss out on. Here’s the gameplay!
Time travelling first-person-shooter? Sign me up! Well, this is the perfect winter getaway with tons of replayability and… for you to make a hot cup of chocolate milk every time you feel you can’t get through a mission.
Basically the way this game works is, that you are stuck in a time loop. Every choice you make helps you advance and if you die, well, you start over. To stop the loop, you have to kill 8 targets. One of them, is out for your blood and will do anything for you to stop the loop and will cause you to reset it.
Oof. Sounds like a pain in the ass. But, the more times you die, the more you learn, and the better you get. Watch the gameplay here!
Another absolute no-brainer of a game… Desperados III! A real-time strategy game for all who love the wild west – this is the best choice for you. If you’ve ever played any of the older reiterations of the game, then you’re gonna enjoy this one even more – it is a prequel.
The story follows the history of John Cooper, the badass bounty hunter, and explores his past. Get ready to discover how he meets returning characters Doc McCoy, Kate O’Hara, and new ones like Isabel and Hector. Developed by MiMiMi games, it follows a similar gameplay style as it was in Shadow Tactics (another really cool game).1
Since nearly more than half of 2022 is over, we here at Gamers-Outlet.net thought it was a greaaaaaat idea to recap some of the upcoming games of this year and get you pumped up for what’s in store.
1. A Plague Tale: Requiem
A direct sequel to “A Plague Tale: Innocence”, you follow in the footsteps of siblings Amicia and Hugo during the era of the Black Plague. Of course, the friggin’ rats are gonna be there and will be way more challenging this time.
To be released in October, this game truly embodies elements of stealth, surprise and historical horror as we see the protagonists fleeing from soldiers AND rats. Will they find a cure for Hugo? Let’s find out!
2. High on Life
Now imagine this: You’re a regular high school graduate who has pretty much an uneventful life but now has to fight aliens with talking guns because they’re trying to take over our planet for the sole purpose of drugs?! That’s literally what’s happening here.
Developed under the creator of Rick and Morty Justin Roiland, this game is gonna be super funny and aesthetic!
3. The Callisto Protocol
Finally, to end our awesome list, we present to you: The Callisto Protocol.
A survival horror game set in the future, this game seems like it’s got everything you’d want. Based entirely on Jupiter’s moon Callisto, it’s set in the year 2320. Fun fact: This game is inside the PUBG universe (wtf? but it’s true!)…. How stoked are you for this?
Well, the first 5 months have kinda gone by QUICK and how… We got some amazing releases this year, like Lost Ark and Dying Light 2… But the year isn’t over and we’re just halfway through! So let’s see what else is in store for us and how excited we SHOULD BE!

It’s time for some Warhammer! Yep, this epic game releases in September! How excited are you for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide?
October’22

Hey folks, hope you’re doing well. There’s some super exciting news to look forward to in our blog today! Warhammer 40k’s Space Marine deserved a sequel so bad and now it’s finally here – the game the fans loved playing and enjoyed it for a decade has a proper sequel : Space Marine II.
Watch the trailer below:
This trailer was revealed at the Game Awards a couple of days ago and is absolutely badass.
And guess who’s still alive and kickin’?
Captain Titus! He’s back! The leader and the protagonist of the previous installment of the game, he returns in this glorious trailer.
The game will retain its original third-person shooting style gameplay with some rumored cues from Quake Champions and World War Z. It will release across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Not only that, but it will be included with the Xbox Game Pass as well.
It does not have a release date yet. Not even a release year. At least it’s official, and is being made. And it won’t turn out like Dead Island 2. Oh god, hopefully not.
Thanks for checking in, fellas! Until next time π
Well, the second chapter of Fortnite ended with a bang and the event was a total success. The Cube Queen was finally defeated and we are given a glimpse of The Foundation, played by none other than Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. With the classic Rock brow and his cavalier attitude, it looks absolutely amazing.
How is Chapter 3 different from Chapter 2? Well, there’s a big gameplay change, with the focus shifting a little bit towards swinging and sliding (Spider-Man reference?) making the gameplay much much faster.
You also earn XP for the Battle Pass in creative mode now, while playing other people’s and players’ creations, which wasn’t the case before. There’s an epic, final “Victory Crown” after you win the game as well. Inclusion of battle camps, where you can heal yourself and your squad + store items every match is also a new feature! And talking about weapons – boy, oh boy! There are brand new AWESOME weapons!
Most of these details were leaked last week and the developers urged the players to not leak the information, but it was unfortunately leaked all over TikTok with memes spanning Dwayne took over and were all the rage last weekend.
Check the trailer out now!
