Far Cry 6 Reviews Are Out – It’s Not Looking So Good :(

Far Cry 6 Cover Image

Far Cry 6 is out, finally. The glorious game and the sixth instalment in the Far Cry series by Ubisoft is up for grabs. With a strong star studded lead, it should have broken all sales records, right? Well, apparently even Giancarlo Esposito apparently couldn’t save the game…

It looks beautiful, the graphics are amazing but unfortunately the gameplay seems to be… repetitive. And so does the plot. It’s just like every Far Cry game since Far Cry 3 – evil dictator bad, hero takes him down with help from the locals and other factions – victory. Quoting Vaas from Far Cry 3, “insanity is doing the exact same fucking thing, over and over again, expecting shit to change.”, and quite ironical as it is, Ubisoft did the same thing and expected us to fall in love with it.

It is something to take note of though, most reviews that were average were given by critics or actual reviewers and trusted websites like Polygon, or IGN for that matter. The fans love the game apparently even though they know that these reviews (and the lack-luster gaming experience) exists; and are supporting it fully. It is pretty satisfying and fun to be fair, but unfortunately that feeling doesn’t last that long and wears down pretty fast due to the repetitiveness it has.

Yara (the place where Far Cry 6 takes place) is wonderful and a great area to explore, especially with the free open world atmosphere the game offers.

Check this video out to know more about the game and how it looks like – and if you should wait for a sale before getting it.

Well, that’s it for now folks, hope you have a smashing weekend and stay safe!

Marvel’s Avengers Finally Included Spider-Man into the Mix!

Spider-Man Joins Marvel's Avengers Game

Amidst the mixed reviews that this game received, it is still going strong with its updates and a promise to fix the issues highlighted by the community. It has been a whole year since the game came out and to address that, the studio made a 1-year-anniversary bundle for the game owners with a bunch of freebies! You can grab it before the day ends today!

Crystal Dynamics recently uploaded a new content roadmap that showcases what’s to come in near future so players know what to expect from it.

Unfortunately, they do not specify when these would be rolled out but as you can see, Spidey makes the cut! As seen on Gamerant; Other additions include community missions like Priority Minion Rush, Cargo Runner Synthoid, and Flashback Rewards Cache. Also included in September and the remaining months going forward are costumes inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with one MCU costume for Black Panther already released.

There’s a new hero event that includes Spider-Man and hopefully that will bump the numbers for the current PC players up. It was performing terribly on PC and that might stand to change owing to their latest update.

Now available on all platforms, you can either wait for the updates to come out or simply grab a copy now!

As usual, have a great day and a lovely week! And don’t forget – GamersOutlet.net is your one stop shop for everything videogames and software, at the cheapest possible price! 😉

There’s a sort of a mixed response from Nintendo Switch players, owing to its high price and the similarities it has to the Switch, even the design. But Nintendo doesn’t own the rights to concept of a hybrid console so… I guess that’s fine? It’s difficult to know for sure, as Nintendo will sue half the Italian population just for having the name Mario.

Back to the Steam Deck – you can reserve one now HERE via Steam or on their official website!

Stay tuned for more updates! Have a great weekend, y’all!

E3 2021 : Good, but slightly underwhelming

E3 2021 Highlights

E3 2021. One of the most anticipated events in gaming and tech – finally here and how!

From Battlefield 2042 gameplay reveals to an all new Guardians of The Galaxy game – we got a LOOOOOT from it. But even so, it was slightly underwhelming.

Jeff Goldblum talking about… I guess we will never understand! But he came to announce Jurassic World Evolution 2 – and let’s just say it was pretty meh… So was Kojima’s Death Stranding Director’s Cut – weirdly cute but also gives us zero clue as to what the hell was happening in the trailer!

But there were some really promising moments, especially from Indie Game Devs, for instance, Metroid Dread. ‘Nuff said! R6S Extraction was a pleasant sight for sore eyes due to the overall flat event, but we can blame the ongoing pandemic on that. It’s been difficult…

Here’s everything you missed out on E3, but let’s have a laugh first!

On to more serious topics and an in-depth analysis of the event and what’s to follow in the future; we recommend the following video:

Well then, how excited are ya?

Let us know in the comments below and tell us what your favorite moment from E3 was!

As always, stay toasty and take care! Until next time, gamers.

3 Reasons Why You Should Totally Get Resident Evil 8 : Village!

Resident Evil Village

Well, now that it’s out, let’s talk about why you TOTALLY SHOULD get Resident Evil 8 Village! Capcom did a wonderful job and it has received a highly positive review from all who’ve played it – so why should you buy this game?

A FINE MIX

It’s a really good combination of RE7 Biohazard and RE4, it’s literally the best of both worlds! Great story, immersive atmosphere and mind-blowing visuals. Capcom has used the RE Engine to its full potential and created something beautiful.

A great amalgamation and yet it doesn’t feel copied or repeated in any way. They built it from ground up and have done so with a lot of love and effort – and it clearly shows.

Have a look at some of the reviews on Metacritic.com!

GAMEPLAY

It has an average playing time of 10-12 hours, which is a very decent time to enjoy and play the game and beat the Story Mode. Unlike other RE titles, this one also has side objectives which adds to the pleasure.

The graphics are absolutely breathtaking and really set the tone. Here’s TheRadBrad playing it, so you can have a look at the walkthrough and judge it for yourself!

PRICE

The game is really fairly priced at 59,99 EUR.

Well, do you want a surprise? You can get the game for ONLY 38,06 EUR exclusively at Gamers-Outlet.net!!!

Xbox Cloud Gaming Releasing Today!

Xbox Cloud Gaming

Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) dropping today! And at no extra cost either! It’s all inclusive in the Xbox Game Pass… So what is this “extra” service that Microsoft is providing its users?

Well, not too difficult to understand, and definitely not a new concept – Xbox Cloud Gaming is simply Microsoft’s attempt at providing high end game streaming service to anyone with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and a really good high speed internet connection.

Google’s Stadia launched a similar service in 2019, and it was a success – especially due to the ongoing pandemic.

The biggest advantage to this service is that Microsoft is not charging ANYTHING extra for this, and the beta versions are rolling out today, and is available in 22 countries as of now on Android devices. It is also available on an invite-only basis on iPhone, iPad and Windows PCs.

For the full list of games that can be downloaded/streamed, refer to this list :
